Network Distribution is the most modern, powerful, scientific, systematic, cost effective and 21st century way of distributing products and services. It empowers ordinary people with business options and hence brings in a new economy confronting the capitalism. When the industry started there were only a few businesses that incorporated a sales and compensation program with a number of different levels. Hence the term "multi-level." However the term, Multi Level Marketing was shortened to MLM for ease and later it was upgraded to Network Marketing. As many people resisted using the word marketing it was then called as Network Distribution. Hence it is known by different names - Multi Level Marketing, MLM, Network Marketing, Network Distribution and Referral Business. Now people prefer to call it as Home Based Business
History.
Nobody knows exactly when MLM (Multi Level Marketing) began, because it really evolved over a number of years, prior to World War II. Most observers agree that Nutrilite, now an Amway subsidiary, was the first true MLM company, way back in the 1920s.
In 1949, two young men named Rich DeVos and Jay VanAndel became Nutrilite distributors. In the ensuing decade, they build a large, prosperous organization across America. But, in the late 1950s, a rift developed between the manufacturer and the marketer. DeVos and VanAndel watched for some time, later decided to create a product of their own that they could supply to what was left of their network.
What happened next is legendary. In 1959, they formed Amway Corporation. Within ten years, they'd bought Nutrilite, and Amway has rarely looked back ever since.
The industry developed slowly from 1959 to 1975. At that time, only thirty firms could be called true Multi-level Marketing companies. Yet by the late 1960s, the efforts of one man would soon change all that, partly for the better and partly for the worse.

Its ironic that people still mistakenly accuse MLM of being pyramid selling when it was actually the reputable MLM companies that first petitioned government authorities to have pyramid selling outlawed. It didn't take long for legislation to be passed to rub out pyramid selling. But pyramid selling isn't really a system or structure, despite its cunning name. Its a mentality - an attitude - which is very hard to legislate against. Consequently, many anti-pyramid laws also discriminate unintentionally against legitimate network marketing.
What do we know about pyramids? A pyramid is the most enduring physical structure we know of. With its broad foundation, a pyramid can grow to great heights and yet remain solid and stable. Dr. Dean Black, in his wonderful booklet The MLM Simple Success Guide, describes a pyramid as follows:
"Above a certain size any organization that distributes products or services ends up shaped like a pyramid, with multiple levels that get bigger as you go down. Delegation creates a multi-level pyramid. Our government is also a multi-level pyramid. So are our schools and churches. All successful businesses, because they distribute products and services, end up shaped like a pyramid.

Over the following decades, MLM has evolved and developed further into the wide array of companies, product ranges, reward plans and cultures that exist today. This unique, powerful system of free enterprise continues to grow, attracting more and more people to it. As we are in the twenty-first century, MLM has never been so well respected, so healthy, so attractive or so rewarding. Wall Street sings of its glory and Fortune 500 companies are embracing the Network Distribution marketing system to sell their products. It has now become a 100 Bn US$ annual turnover industry.
People form independent organizations, where the sales people themselves, rather than the company, hires, trains and manages their own sales force. In essence, each person has the opportunity to build his or her own sales organization, with the company providing products and paying Incentive cheques.
It may offer you the true freedom we are missing in our life. But don't jump to the conclusion that this is another get rich scheme. It's NOT! It takes time and effort, especially in the beginning, just like building anything worthwhile does. You build a foundation and gradually build up from there, like a plant starts with a very small seed. The potential for a entire oak tree is already present in the seed. If you can see the potential, you can achieve the results. As your business grows it takes less effort because you not only gain from your own efforts, you gain from the efforts of others!
Remember, almost all of these Work At Home Business Opportunities are absolutely FREE. The only cost is your time and effort. When you see a movie you enjoy and tell someone else about it, you are, in effect, selling the movie to that person! Did you know that the highest paying profession in the World is sales? Selling is simply sharing stories, and helping people. Everybody seems to hate selling, but most everyone enjoys helping others.

Income from jobs has been declining as well as the security that a good job with a good company USED to offer. Did you know that 9 of 10 families now need two working members to just make ends meet? Surveys indicate 85% of all Americans would like to own their own business. 25% of North America is involved in some sort of home business. The average home-based business generates over $50,000 yearly in income, while the average working wage is only $ 22,000 in North America. This is the reason why thousands and thousands of people are flocking to Home Based Businesses as it is an appropriate platform for people to explore their human potential and achieving success. UK has 20% of its population working from Home while the USA records a 25%. Network distribution has been in the forefront in the Home Based Business sector providing an unparalleled growth.
If you're seriously considering working from home, you're not alone. Some 50 million Americans are currently doing so, compared with six million in 1984, according to the National Association of Home-Based Businesses. In five years, it is estimated that as many as one of every two workers will be engaged in a full- or part-time business or doing salaried work at home. For some, this alternative facilitates juggling family and career. For others, it can lead to spending more time with their children. Working from home can provide the means for stretching a tight budget or finding a new career for those displaced by corporate downsizing. For the retired or the increasing number of people considering early retirement, it becomes a way of contributing, of staying alive and vibrant by not allowing their professional skills to atrophy. And for many with handicaps, it's the door to self-sufficiency and a productive future.
India, which has 18% of the world population embraced Network Distribution in the late 90's. The industry is just in its nascent stage. According to IDSA there are as many as 8 lacs people involved with Network Distribution which is a mere 0.8% of the total population. DreamWorld.comprovides one such opportunity to one and all while it has a clear mission to Happiness For All !.

Is Residual Income is a new term for you?
You will be surprised if you have a close look at your income pattern as of now. Find out what type of an income you have! Okay, Let us have a look. Lets make it real simple!
Residual Income is the income that you obtain more than once for doing the work (whatever it may be) one time.
This is the type of income that is used by practically any person or company that reaches financial success and freedom. In other words it is impossible to achieve financial success (or Financial Freedom - i.e. you have enough money with you for whatever need or want of yours) or Freedom (or Time Freedom i.e. you decide what and when you want to do) if you do not have a source for Residual Income.
You may have heard the term Royalties. Basically it is the same thing. Another name for it is Passive Income. It's all the same thing. Lets see a few examples :
Authors- They only write the book once but get paid every time a copy is sold.
Movie Personalities- They only star in the movie once but get paid every time it is aired, shown, or purchased.
Singers- They sing only once but they get paid each time their song (Audio or CD) is sold.
Inventors- They only invent their idea once but get paid every time their patent is used.
Network Professional- You do the work only once, you get paid every time
Now lets see the regular way of income. This is called Linear Income.
Linear Income is the income that you obtain only once for doing the work (whatever it may be) one time.
This is the type of income that is generally used by everyone who never reaches financial success and freedom. In other words you will be doing the same work as many times to get the same income and hence it is impossible to achieve financial success (or Financial Freedom - i.e. you have enough money with you for whatever need or want of yours) or Freedom (or Time Freedom i.e. you decide what and when you want to do) if you have a Linear Income.
Lets see a few examples:
You do not need to see many. The first one that comes to your mind is jobs!
JOB - If you work for a month you get paid for one month.
Professionals - As long as your practice you earn money (Doctors, Lawyers etc)
We are sure not all of us can be Authors, Singers, Movie Personalities, Inventors or Insurance Advisors. Hence it is impossible for us to have Residual Income. If you like it you call it a money plant. You got to nurture and mandatory it initially. Once it starts yielding you have the freedom from work.
You get the idea. Wouldn't you like to have this style of income?
